OK just took some pics off the J30 VLSD, I got the whole rear end including sub frame, bushings, and axles. Since I wont be needing any of that, I can sell the axles if anyone is interested.

What year j30 did you get your diff. from, do you know?

I like those tension rods. What exactly do those do for you? Do they replace ones that are already on the car or are they an addition to the suspension? You should take pics while installing and do a write-up/how-to fo retarted people like me.

J30 Vlsd is from a 95 with 2x3 bolt pattern just like the S14, so i keep my axles :)

The reason for these tension rods is because my caster is off and we all know the caster is not adjustable on our cars, so I need caster adjustment, but they say this mod should be one of the first ones if you wanna drift, because it increases steering response. I was going to get the Tanabe Drift Spec Tension Rods but the wait was 4 weeks for them so I just got Tein.

Ill try to take pics while installing.

OK NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD ONE!!!!!

THE REASON FOR CAPS IS BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT

For those of you who have a Non-ABS S14 and have Enjuku Racing Aluminum Driveshaft, THE J30 VLSD WILL NOT FIT.........The reason for that is because the driveshaft is no longer and the yolkshield had to be removed, due to a longer driveshaft and the longer J30 differential with abs sensor. The driveshaft is way too long and can damage your transmission. We did manage to install BUT as soon as i drove i heard very hard rubbing noise and too much rattle, we took the car back on the lift and the driveshaft was rubbing against the inner part of the transmission. So we that in mind. I called my local dirveshaft place and they are going to shorten my Aluminum driveshaft by 1/2" and balance for $65 door to door service. So if you want to do this and you have a non-ABS S14 and have enjuku driveshaft do not bother installing, get your driveshaft shortened.

As far as the Tein Tension Rods, it took about 5 minutes to intsall them, they are much smaller then regular tension rods. I did not get to drive the car yet and give you feedback due to the fact i have no Drive Train :)

The drive shaft should be here on Wednesday.

Now that i think about lets say i want the Kaaz 2 way LSD. I would have to go and find the original ABS-S14 VLSDifferential.

Don't think so... the rear end is the same R200. There shouldn't be any reason you'll need to get the S14 diff.

I've driven a 300Z w/ the our SPL tension rods and it was very smooth and responsive in the wheel feel.

Email me for more info on our tension rods.

Okkk, driveshaft came back it was shortened exactly 1/2 " inch. It fit perfectly like it was suppose to be there, the freakinr car feels awesome, both wheel spin, its awesome, the taller gear ratio doesnt even feel slower at all, i think it due almost no friction between the transmission and rear diff, due to one piece aluminum shortened driveshaft. I tried drifting a little, the response from the Tein Tension rods are unbelivable. So much more responsive on corners and turns, feels like a completly different car. Very awesome and inexpensive mods. Cant go wrong for the buck.
