I have had my front lip and spoiler sitting in my garage for the last 3 weeks waiting on paint. My buddy finally picked them up and painted them this afternoon. So I just finished installing them and they went on really easy. So hear are some pics and tell me what you think.

P.S. These are crapy pics I took in my garage, so I will post some better pics tomarro afternoon.

Suggestion, if your lip came with the double sided tape on it, buy a little extra and put it on the upper portion of the lip and get some rubber clamps to clamp the far corners to the bumper while the double sided tape dries. I say this because on mine it was leaving a little gap on the side where it fits to the wheel well. I will post some pics up later to show you what ime talking about.

The lip looks great, i'm not a big fan of spoilers but it fits well and will definatly look better with out all the badge clutter. Oooh and I think you should get some bumperplugs! For those lil' holes from that license plate mounting thing.

it looks good, but the color match is way off. the lip and spoiler are extremely too white. the car is more of a pearl and is insanely hard to match. I went with wind to pick up his lip and mustach and it took a few paint mixtures before they got it right. the first batch on wind's car was also too white, but with both the shop owner and wind being perfectionists they got it right. i'd take it back to whoever you had paint it and ask them to get it matched up a little better. it'll start to bother you eventually and it isn't worth the money unless it's exact.

I think it was just the light in my garage that was making it look like that, my garage has 6 4' halogen lights directly above the hood. (those lights used to be black lights when my garage was a bar) So I am going to take some more pics in a few hours. That way I can get the hole car. Then you can tell me if the paint doesnt match. The guy who painted it is a pro and he said he had to mix like 3 different kinds of paint and sprayed it multiple times.

To me, the colors look the same outside, but I am also half blind.

that's the one thing that sucks about the white... hard as hell to match with that pearl in it... what grill are you getting?

True. It's hard to match cause the film thickness of the pearl coat greatly affects the final color. Although I will agree, pictures are very difficult to judge color match on. The pearl coat is the reason I stayed away from the white. I'd be worried that I'd get hit or something and need work done and the color would never match. Other than that, the lip and spoiler look sick!

It does look too white. It's not a drastic difference, but you can tell it's off slightly. Maybe once the sun starts to 'eat' the paint it'll start to blend in.

Depending on how much you friend charged you, I would just let it be. How much did he charge you by the way? I need mine painted also.

Dunno about the rest of the board.

The color match isn't that bad...it looks differet at certain angles. And to me only the lip looks whiter, especially in the first pic of the day shots.

beautiful, I just ordered my stillen wing installed and actually just ordered my front lip.

is yours dropped? It looks better than I thought it would with a lip if its not dropped.

Any opinions on necessity of a drop with the lip anyone?

I would go back and get him to redo the paint on the front spoiler cause it definetly look off. But it all still looks awesome on the car.

Yea I have defenetly thought about getting him to touch it up a lil bit.

But how in the hell am i suposed to take the front lip off, without messing up my stock bumper. That double sided tap is like cement. So does anyone have any experience in taking this double sided tape off?

So I dropped my spoiler off at a shop by my house. He will be doing the cleaning, sanding, priming and painting of both the spoiler and my pair of eyelids that I've had sitting around my house for a couple months for 150.

Taking all the work you did on your own into account... I think it's a good price. Right?

yea thats a good price, granted he cleans and primes them properly. I cleaned and scrubbed each piece like 4 times, and when i started priming, there where multiple spots that still bubbled up. so I had to sand those spots and lay down more primer. I primered and sanded my parts like 4 times. But it was worth the work to make sure they where perfectly smooth for the colormatch paint. I have seen to many people on this site have bubbles in there paint(from shops) all because they didnt clean and prime them properly.

Make sure you check the parts out very well before you leave the shop. And make sure the color matches perfectly before you mount them.
