well, after wanting a 240 for over 3 years now (i've been registered on zilvia.net for 2.5 years, lol), but never being able to find a decent one, it finally happened. i bought me a 1990 black hatch. I just wanted to put something up and brag about it because i'm excited as hell. if any of you guys have any advice for me, let me know! thanks

first off, no hazing for zilvia, please, i just happened to find them first. i now know that this forum is by far superior. as far as mods go, i'm not really interested in power right now. I want to do a nice set of coilovers, strengthen the body up (strut/sway bars, etc), and get an LSD to begin with. After I'm happy with the way it handles, i'm going to pick up a KA24DE and build it in my garage, and once it's ready, i'll put it in. as far as looks go, i'm not too concerned with that right now, that'll come when i'm happy with how it drives, so i don't really have any ideas on that yet. i'm hoping to sell my truck soon, and that should easily cover the suspension aspect of the car. other than that, hopefully when i get back from iraq, i'll have a good bit of money saved up to make this car simply awesome. until then, it'll be a typical lightly modded daily driver.

Welcome to NICO! Most of us are tools, so bear with us

Looks like you have your head on straight! Get the brakes/suspension/chassis at leat started before you go for a motor swap. I did my coilovers, sways, brakes and wheels/tires then I did my swap and I am VERY glad. Let me really get the feel of my chassis before I tried to be a hero with the power. But yes, I HIGHLY reccomend turbo, but you can still have tons of fun w/ an N/A KA24DE. My buddy competed with his DE for quite some time successfully before he put a T3 Super 60 on her. Stock everything and at 7.5psi he smacks us small blocks around! He posts as BBandit on Zilvia (his name is Yuda)
