Ok, I was driving to the bank to the bank today and I noticed a car in the K-Mart parking lot, but I was like naw couldnt be. So, on my way back I stopped over there to see if I wasnt crazy. Well, I found an S13. Its black, the body is in excellent condition, inside looks great too. Well, it has a sticker on the side of the car that says special edition, so you know what that means, its a convertible. And since its a convertable that means its auto also. Well, im not sure how many miles it has on it or anything, but they are asking 5300$ What do you guys think about that price? I got the number and im gonna be calling today.

Ok, Daunttless or anyone else who might have the answer:Are there any major differences between the S13 coupe and the convertible?

The only down side to the car is that its automatic, which means im gonna have to do the auto to manual conversion, which means im gonna be buying hella parts. Oh well, it'll be worth it.

5300 is to much. even if its in great condition w/ low miles, thats still to much. i paid 5500 for my s14,so u need to get them down to like, well AT LEAST 4500 or sumthin, and maybe u can work w/ them. is the top in good condition?

the top is in near perfect condition, could use a slight wash and some sealant. And yeah, i checked a few sites, like edmunds.com, to see what it "should" cost, if it has every option, it should be around 4400$ What would make the convertible heavier? The motor for the top? Just wondering. I thought it might weigh near the same since theres no roof. But I could be wrong, just curious.

Convertibles are heavier because the require more frame bracing since they dont have a roof.

Keep looking.

It's an auto.

You'll be complaining up a storm a month after you have it, because autos suck. Coupes rock (i've got a 93), but its not worth it. Find one that's perfect.

Nick.

Ive always driven auotmatic cars(not by choice), so Im used to it already. But I do want a 5 speed. All I have to do is get the manual conversion done when I have my SR20DET put in. Im sure Daunttless should be able to source the parts and sell them to me. If not, im sure I could get all the stuff from junk yards or my nearest Nissan dealer ship. I just think that a modded out S13 convertible is hella rare and would deffinatly turn some heads.
