Nope, this Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. We were there for the Cherry Blossom Festival.rsiwicki wrote:Lou....is that park there in the background off US1 by New Brunswick or some mall? Looks familar from when I lived there.
Hey, the wheel gap's not that bad.elwesso wrote:Looks real nice, but jeez, that thing needs lowered!!!!!!
Oh, I think they look good on both.AZhitman wrote:Lou, that looks WAAAAY better than they ever did on mine!
I agree.. The ride with the lowering springs isnt that much worse.. With the bigger wheels, sway bars, and tokico's/eibachs makes the car ride like it was meant to... Considering what my current Q intentions is with the setup it is currently it is very plush... The old Q rode much nicer but I was riding on piepans with soft sidewalled tires.. I loved that car, the rear sway bar would have been great..Falkdesigns wrote:Brian, you didn't get to see or ride in my car, but 2" drop, KYB shocks, great ride, even on the crap roads of L.A. You'll never hear me talk about stationary appearance, that's what I collect die-cast for, my car works perfect in the real world.
Lou, the car looks sweet! I think those wheels really go with the car.
Try to tell that to yahoos in Seattle, We got so many paved streets scraped by car's "lowered" ride that it is hard to imagine what could happen if you lower soimething as heavy as Q45 and then give it a good ride up and down in Seattle downtown I want to see a lowered just "1 inch" Q45 belly after Quote » IF YOU LET ME DRIVE IT FOR YA[/quote] an extensive drive around town! All I need it good wet traction tires and I am all set. If I could get stock height stiffer springs and stiffer sway bars, I'd go for it!But all that is offered out there is to lower your ride. So, I 'll stop searching for a "perfect" L K and enjoy the ride as it is!I've played enough with suspension set-ups that will last me a lifetimemaxnix wrote:Reducing suspension travel is not beneficial if one drives on anyhting less smooth than a billiard table.
It's telling that all the ride height critics comments apply to the appearance to stationary cars. All I can say is get a model and you can make it look as kewl as you please.
I prefer my cars to perform in the real world.
Yea, I know what you mean. I hate those really ricey Jap compacts that are almost in the wheel well and tons of negative camber. Yuck! I don’t like too much wheel gap, but none looks bad too. As far as me lowering my Q, I'm done. I've spent too much on my Q this past year as it is. Just scheduled maintenance for now and that’s it.szhosain wrote:I have to admit I do not like the look of lowered cars,
