high intensity LED is the way the truth the light Anything that emits light in my car I switched with LED bulbs. The only ones I wasnt able to find an LED bulb size for is for the third brake light on the spoiler and the 2 bulbs that light up the rear license plate. The really small LED's I was able to pull out of their housing and use them for the tiny bulbs used for your cruise control, hazard, hvac, top up/down etc. buttons and man i tell you they are soooooo bright. The only thing about running full LED's is when using the dimmer switch theres really only 4 brightness settings. low med high and super almost blinding you bright. The place I got my DTRL made the 360LED in the 1156 and 1157 bulbs in white amber and red so Ive included a shot with the parking lights onThe gauge cluster actually looks more like a lighter blue than in the picture, i duno how it looked so blue in this shot.thank you soooo much for the compliments guysZenkiOwns wrote:I've got the DRL on my vert too, but my lights aren't nearly that bringht. what bulbs are you running?
<sylvania
An actual 921 bulb is probably going to be brighter than an LED 921 bulb. Your best bet would probably be to fab up some type of LED bar to go into the 3rd brake light housing.cmkelly wrote:Has anyone found an LED bulb for the spoiler? With the new tail lights the 3rd brake lights looks kind of weak.
mine came with cracked ones so I picked up a set from this guy locallyhttp://www.pdm-racing.com/prod....htmlGenuine nissan replacement just scroll down and decide if you want the factory or the baller status clearcorner one. Just email Don Nimi and tell him mike with the black vert referred you he may hook you up with a better price...cmkelly wrote:Where can I buy some Canadian Daytime Running Lights (CDRL)? Thanks, kelly
Hey, man. Thanks for sharing us with all this info. If you can find license plate bulbs, you can try Lexus IS350 ones. They are bright white, and I think most license plate bulbs are universal, so they might fit on 240.S-13 wrote:yeap I replaced the bulbs with LED ones. What kind of efan did you get? I'm asking you because I just ordered a Koyo rad for my KA, and it's on its way. I should receive it next Monday. I've been searching about this efan upgrade that allows you ditch the clutch fan, but I'm having trouble understanding wiring, fitment and stuff. Anyone knows good write up on it BTW? I might just keep the stock efan and clutch fan if that's too much trouble.S-13 wrote:Next project is installing my newly acquired koyo rad/efan and AL circuit sports coolant reservoir.
Now we know those tiny aftermarket bulbs are available. I still prefer stock look though. I'm old school I guess.S-13 wrote:The really small LED's I was able to pull out of their housing and use them for the tiny bulbs used for your cruise control, hazard, hvac, top up/down etc. buttons and man i tell you they are soooooo bright.
