I was having problems with my Q for a while I put in rebuilt injectors last July and they failed this summer. I bought the stage 2 injectors and the adapter kit from Deathschwerks I was able to finally get it done yesterday I drove the car today and there is no more power loss and smoking when the engine is hot. It still has a little bit of a bog off the line but before it was hard to start would not move and it was dumping a ton of fuel into the engine.

CONGRATULATIONS! That is great news!

How long have you owned your Q?

The Deatschworks kit is very nice. Did you splice in the P2 plugs that came with the kit? When I did mine, I was replacing everything anyway, so I ordered an OEM 94-96 injector harness.

For the off-idle stumble, did you try cleaning the MAF? That fixed the problem for me.

I have had the car for almost 2 years, I bought it to take the engine out of it and put it in a Jaguar XJS but I figured for the amount of work it would take to just fix up the Q and use it as a spare car at my shop. I did a little work hear and there I updated the timing chains pulled off the plenum many times chasing the losing power fault. It does have some body rot I may fix it or just patch the rot on the frame rails and drive it as is. I spliced in the connectors that came with the kit. I did clean the air flow sensor I also put in a used one when I was chasing the losing power fault I may put the other one back in and see how it runs. I have sunk alot of money in to this car the only other car I have more into is my 70 Charger but that is a complete restoration. The Q only cost $300 but if I can get a few years out of it I will be happy. Also I does have a ticking noise from the right side under the cam cove I tryed MMO and changing the oil in hopes that it is the lifters but it is still there.

Same. Ticks moved in here after the timing guide upgrade.. Not sure why.. I'll get back to it after I finish a couple of other projects..
