well guys after six months of the vert sitting on the side of my house, me and a buddy went to a junkyard to go look for parts. to my amazment i saw i decent looking red vert sitting there. well as i opened the door i thought to myself, the guy we toke the car to told us the ecu is fired. soo as i looked down to the side of the panel of the passenger side, i see an ecu, well we got that sucker out and opened it up it was good. so we brang it back to my house pluged it in and there it went started right up. my father nearly shi!ted himself. it was great. anyways just wanted to let everyone know my vert is back and running once again.

Awesome news!!!

Anything else available in that junkyard vert? You should head back there and see what else you can find... window switches, top motors, rams, weatherstripping, rear windows, etc...

Congrats! Yeah, try and pull off any vert-specific parts you can get for cheap.

My vert just developed a starting problem, but it seems to be fuel-related. I have to step on the gas while cranking to get it started.

I got this same problem, but only with my remote starter....the car cranks up perfectly when just using a key =/

You have to be in the car to use the remote starter... kinda funny.

sorry to go off topic, but this sounds like a common problem... time to start a new thread.
