FINALLY GOT THE BEAST RUNNING

Well after blowing up my old motor i got a jdm motor and put it in last week. here is a short clip of the 1st start up with no exhaust as you will see.

Sounds pretty mean! Was that with just the rear muffler removed or up to the headers?

yeah sorry i put the wrong link. already changed tho. its just the motor with the headers on with the gutted cats. tried driving it yesterday feels a little slugish while i was in the parking lot. not sure what it is but i know i now have a vacuum leak somewhere cause it will want to stall sometimes especially when im on the brake or something. so gotta check that out.

Yeah, sounds like you're running an open exhaust. A littl work and it will sound good for normal driving and great for passing .

Makes me want to remove my entire exhaust! Man that sounds awesome! Could you imagine the look from grandpa sitting next to you at the light when you rev it up??? Great sound!

its pretty loud at redline. havent really gone to fast in it just in the back parking lot of the shop to make sure everything works. still looking for the vacuum leak tho.
