So finally got around to having the stillen lip painted and got the tires in so I had them mounted and balanced. Also got the tailights tinted with VHT and clear coat this past weekend. The wet sanding took forever but it came out pretty good. Im still not sure how to get it to shine just like my paint because I have sanded, buffed, and waxed them and they still look kind of dull. If anyone has any comments to help me just let me know. I like the look with these wheels alot better than the Rotas. Im thinking about running some spacers in the rear once I drop it more though. Specs are wheels are matte black Axis Elites 19x9.5 +40 all around. Running Federal ss595 245/40/19. Ended up being a nice package and tires ride really well with the rough roads I have in some places around here.

I like the black on black look dude, nice taste. I wanted to get that spoiler for my AC last year but Nissan only offered it for the sedan :tisk:. Show some front pics too... Image

PLEASE let me know how it drives with the setup you have. I'm looking at some 18x9.5 +40s right now. You're lowered with Eibachs or have you done coils? Have you tested your steering from end to end yet?

Looks awesome! My only thing is I say tint the windows!

Yerp..Rusto for the win. One coat of Rusto and I shine just as bright as my paint, check the reflection of the trees.

Loving your look, Im not always a fan of the black on black on black on black but this works nicely. Now go enjoy being harrassed by the Jakes!

Looks good.

I would keep the windows untinted and roll with untinted taillights

I think those would be subtle improvements to make it look really clean

5-10mm spacer on the back and fitment is very nice

Ill have to get a front pic here soon. I didnt take a full front pic because of the accident the car was involved in. Have everything put back together except for the chrome piece on the grille. It was broke so the grille is in but without the piece and you can tell. I am debating about whether to wait for the cmod grille to be available again, or just order another OEM grille to get the piece I need. My last grille I had the chrome piece painted black but this time im debating on whether to get a buddy of mine to wrap the chrome piece with carbon fiber. He does tons of interior work for people and it always comes out looking good. I havent seen it done yet and I think it would look good. I know I gotta get the tint done soon. Its so hard to get a appt around here that works around my work schedule to drop my car off and get it done. Im gonna sand my tail lights back down tomorrow and try to rust oleum brand. I think the clear I used just wasnt very good for keeping it shiny. Plus not even an hour ago I ran to wendys to get my wife a frosty and got pulled over. Cop said my lights were too dark and issued me a warning. So that put a end to the VHT era.

XenonSER-so far it rides great. I can tell a improvement in handling running this wide. I love it so far. Im only on eibachs right now. Im gonna be getting coils down the road. Just saving for one thing at a time right now. I did test it from end to end the first day I mounted the wheels. I have plenty of clearance when turned both ways from the strut and my fenderwells. No rubbing yet at all and I drive it back and forth to work pretty aggressively, and Im not rolled or pulled.

OEM grille, paint the mustache. a lot of people don't like the OEM grille, but it's grown on me since i color matched the mustache and blacked out the burger.

It's a 2010, so he wouldn't have the mustache.

meh. even more reason to just colormatch the chrome on the front, the 2010 OEM grille already looks great

eh, i tried vinyls but they peeled within a week. since i had my lip kit/rockers painted i just took the mustache pieces to the shop and had them spray them (they did it for free because i was paying for the other stuff).

Im thinking about just vinyling mine this time. I had my oem chrome piece painted and it chipped a couple different times and just got on my nerves. I like the oem grille, I just hate the chrome. Im gonna try out the vinyl and If I dont like the way it turns out then Ill go back to the paint.

try sanding off the cheap chrome s*** first before you paint it. also, make sure that you spray it with clear coat.

I think the peeling may be the heat...... I had vinyl eye lids and there was no problem but the heat from the engine could be causing them to peel.

Ps trigger looks good bro!!!

The vinyl mustache hasn't peeled on my grill and it's been installed for 2 years now. It was a major pita to install though.

I sanded the chrome off, painted it, and cleared it before. It looked good for about 5 months, then one day I noticed a spot that was missing the paint. Rock must have hit it or something. Anyways I wet sanded it down, used some factory match touch up paint, and then recleared it. Looked good again and then a couple weeks ago with the weed eater incident it broke the whole piece on the bottom and so I gave up on the piece itself. Ive ordered a new OEM grille now as Im not really feeling the CMOD grille for 10+. Ill sand it a little, put on some 3m 94 primer, and then I ordered some 3m Di noc black max carbon fiber to wrap it in. my buddy that does vinyl said it will be a piece of cake and Im hoping it turns out well. Ill post pics when its done. Ive always like the black on black look. Ive never been a bronze or gold fan, and I get tired of seeing just silver or polished around here all the time. People around here in NC, especially around military bases all seem to try to stay with the same trends and that s*** gets old. I wanted something different.
