Well I went to my local track for test N Tune. I got in 10 passes. The Rb is Running Damn strong. Since it was 90 degree's outside. But sad news is I couldn't hook to save my life. I Finally got to use the Gizzmo launch control. Mine likes a 5500RPM launch, That seems to be were the motor really comes to life.

The best run of the night was 8.06@87

Cut a 1.7 60' Spinning the hell out of 1st gear.

The best I could do on the Megan Coilovers was a 1.9 60'

I switched back to the Stock suspension and could only do a 1.7 60'

If it hooks Im sure it would be in the 1.4 60' and should be 7.70's

Im going to try my old suspension setup on it again and see if it hooks any better. It might be my drag radial im using now also.

But overall I had fun and No breaking!! Woot!!

I got the pleasure of whooping a older mustand with 125 shot of nos. a trans am, Srt-4, Nova, and a turbo propane s-10, But he was having a few issues.

I have some video's im trying to get working, Maybe I can post a few up later.

Yup 11's should be no problem with Traction. Thats on Stock turbo too.

I need a bigger turbo tho LOL I guess a man can never have enough power.

Well I think i figured out my traction issue after going back and looking at the video's. I forgot to set my front springs to Soft for weight transfer

It was Maxing out my shock setting and wouldn't yank the front end up like it use to. I thought it was my rear suspension, but after watching it looked like my rear flexed alot and the front didn't.

Im trying to get some video's on for you guys too see but im on Dialup and its nearly impossible to get them uploaded.

Well I was able to go back to the track last night. But what a horrible night. The Weather was great, it cooled down around 75-78 with not too much humidity, Thought for sure the car was going to run good.

I ended up taking All of the Megan coilover suspension out. It will work if your running a mid 8 sec car /12 sec car. But any more power will not allow it to get the weight transfered to the rear wheels.

So last night I tried the combo of Stock rear suspension and My Stock strut with Tein springs on it in the front.

Worked great. Car hooked good last night. But then i was encountering other problems, Every time I would shift it would go down in RPM's and then Drop a cylinder for about 2-5 seconds then pick it back up. The more I ran the car the worse it got, It just started running PIG rich, Boost is fine still 15lbs, But it seems to me like I killed the plugs with my launch control.

Im going to pull them out today and check them, But my theory is the it either spreaded the gap apart with the misfires, Or it has half fouled a few due to the extra fuel in the cylinders when leaving off the launch control.

My last pass last night Full throttle was 10.04 @ 63mph WOT But the Wideband was reading 9.0 LOL PIG RICH.

Possibly a coil issue also. But im looking into it.

Well I pulled the plugs, They look Fine, Can't see any possible issues with any of them.

What is the best way to check the coils and see if they are getting weak?\

The car revs and acts normal.

But in WOT and full boost its acting up.

Getting plenty of fuel and boost, Just no go.

Nice, my question is... Why the hell are you only running an 1/8th mile?

B/C the nearest 1/4 mile track near me is Bristol TN and thats a 4hr trip 1 way for me.

Gas is too expensive and I tend to break alot of parts when I run So, its best for me to run my local 1/8th mile track 30mins away.

yea i launch my gizzmo at 5500 too but the last time i ran it rained all day and had alot of dew that night and my best that night for me was the 12.2 @113 with 1.8 60ft (spinning on M/T Drag radials) on stock struts and springs.

YA I really think we can manage a 1.4-1.5 60Ft with the launch control, I build just under 10lbs of boost at the line at 5500rpm's.

I have went 1.6 60Ft without the launch control on a good day at the track.

But best 60ft with the launch control is 1.7 spinning.

your twins might be harder to spool I dunno. I was building that much boost at a 3600RPM launch with the gizzmo.

Here is a video 2 weeks ago: This was with the megan coilovers and 12PSI in the BFG drags, with a 5500RPM launch @ 10PSI off the line, Spun ALOT!!

Here is another video from 2 weeks ago. I put the Stock rear springs and Struts in, Megan coilovers on the front with a 5500 launch, 8PSI in the rear tires. Did the best 60' on this pass at 1.7 and the best pass of 8.06 @ 87MPH. Still spun hard off the line.

Ya I would like to run Bristol, but i wanna get all the bugs worked out before I make that trip.

When I do the Propane conversion and Turbo upgrade the car should really come to life. Right now im just trying to work on the suspension tune.
