It looks great all around but I would have painted the drums black and left the yellow on the front calipers...Otherwise a very good job!

OH M GOD!!! those are sooo nice! its about time man, but well worth the wait, those look sweet. The design on them is really unique, where did you buy them at? $2g's aint bad for new ones. Theres a guy at my work with the exact same wheels/tires as me, he paid $2400 new...i paid only $900 :p

enjoy them before the winter comes! you gunna get new winters on your stock wheels or are you upgrading wheels too? im considering getting some off road wheels with beefy tires for the winter, maybe next winter since i got 1 season left on my stockers

The yellow was a quyick decision i really liked how the fogs looked so i just made it yellow.

i bought them at wheels for less they gave me a good deal.

I had bought winters last year so i put them on the stock rims which i plan on painting maybe a little similar to WOT's style because i hate the s*** out of the stock look now

Im poor again but happy

Busy boy! Looks good! Frankly, I'm not digging the yellow drums and calipers. But everything else is sweet.

When commenting on my drum and caliper color if you disagree, please also list a color suggestion for the combo. prbably rock this summer out with yellow and switch it up next summer.

I will be popping off the black inserts from time to time just for a different look i might even order another set and paint them.

set of inserts $150

paint the drums black like mine, its a cleaner look...as for the inserts...leave them black unless you had a two tone truck then itd be sweet to paint em

im glad im not the only one proudly rockin yellow fogs, mine are always on. The day i drove AJRK's q i got to see what mine looks like on highway from another vehicle....wow does it ever look awesome with just fogs on and the fat lip rims rollin

i also like how it looks without the sidesteps...good call on taking yours out

as for tire shine...what did you use? looks stunning

I really like your rims, and the black accents look really nice.

I would also have to agree that a gloss black would be the best color for your calipers and drums. The black would really make the chrome wheels stand out. With yellow, everybody is seeing the drums and calipers and not looking at the wheels.

OP, the rims look awesome. You should have paint the drum and caliper black or even chrome.

I would love to pick up some rims for my pathfinder, but the road in NYC like s***. Pot hole everywhere.

just the other day i was at your cardomain profile and was just sitting there wondering when you would get a set of rims. lolthey look greati also agree with the black drums and black calipers. the yellow is too bright. its eye catching but in the wrong manner. but thats my opinion ofcourseand the magnaflow looks great comin out the back like that.how much did that cost you?and am i the only one that thinks that you should tint the taillights a bit?

Did you get HID fogs mine look green when they warm up its pretty sick i might hook the daytime running fogs back up
Qxxx4 wrote:as for tire shine...what did you use? looks stunning
I use only mcquires tire shine spray always have.

Magnaflow cost me nothing my uncle had it sitting around his shop when i fixed all my rust so we just threw it on was sweet. its only a tip so it makes no noise difference, the next time i head down im going to get the actual muffler replaced with a magnaflow because he has that sitting around also. Didnt do it before because i was running out of time had to head back to Canada and didnt have a Y-pipe.

I have thought about tiniting the taillights but i might just tint the stock ones that will go on in the winter like yours. kind of afraid to spray tint the ones i have on there now

Looks so hard!!! Congrats!! I agree with Qxxx4 on the black drums and calipers. Black truck... chrome rims... and yellow drums? They do not fit in there at all! Thats the kind of stuff i'd expect to see on a 1989 honda civic that also has a yellow spray painted dashboard!!

nah i dont mind the yellow caliper, it looks good, coloured calipers dont really belong on SUV's IMO but its done alot nowadays. Its the drum that sticks out. Drums should be hidden since..their drums. My parents Land Rover for example has 4 wheel disc brakes..drums are not cool which is why i chose black to hide them/make their presence not as known

but whats done is done, why not rock it yellow, its summer. Next summer itll be a new thing when he sees them all black and like every addition we do to our R50's...put a smile on our face

front 3/4 pic looks perfect with HID's on. so sexy. your grille doesnt stand out so much now that your wheels bling too! loving it

yeah I did my calipers red a while back... I like it, but I think I'm gonna paint them silver soon. Everything on the car is pretty neutral: gold paint, silver wheels, black trim. I think the red is too much, a little out of place, and kind of tacky. I love the yellow and black combo personally, but I'd agree that the drums should go black when you're ready to paint them, and get around to it. Looks great though... I'm jealous of all you guys with the pretty wheels.

Looks sick, slickroger. As everyone said before, yellow doesn't really work too well, the yellow does pop out way too mucj, especially since its a bright colour. The good thing is you can change it up next summer. Looks good tho, seemed to do justice for the truck.

Definately, we need to do another GTA meet before summers out. Qxxx4, wanna try and start that up??

I like the wheels, but the fart can and yellow brakes look a little ricey. I would have gone with black, but thats just my opinion.

Looks good Roger, not for me but looks good. With all black I'd definitely go black on both calipers and drums. Once I get my new wheels I'm going black for the drums and silver for the calipers but only because I've got silver trim.
