I am, but I could use some new spark plug-goodness as well as a working tach so I can set my idle...

did they change out the gauge cluster on it for the swap?

There should be a difference in one of the plugs for the cluster on the '89 harness...maybe the problem, or the tach just sucks...

Only the speedometer works...but nothing now because when the alternator fuse blew, it blew out 4 other ones as well...no interior power works.

There's a wiring diagram int he car with the blown fuses highlighted, they will be fixed ASAP.

We thought that might be the problem with Ryans car, but no it has the same part number on both harnesses.

I dont know anything that happened between you and the NICO boys(Couldnt connect to the net for 2 weeks), but just stay on NICO. Its nice to have the car gals around. Too many have disappeared. You need to stop with the jokes. We all see those jokes totally different from the way she sees them. Hence the reason she wants to leave. Trust me. I listen to/deal with/resolve a lot of female problems(I have a lotta female friends) and guys not understanding the girls feelings comes up a lot. I suggest that you sincerely appologize to her. Haha, good lord. So much to take in.

First of all, about the gauges...the SOHC won't match up to the DOHC? That's what I was told is wrong with it. The speedometer, odometer, and trip used to work, but now none of them work. And also, there is a short somewhere in the messy wiring, and it keeps blowing 3 of the interior-power fuses. So hopefully this weekend, I can mess around with it and see if I can't find the problem. I don't even know how to go about gettin a gauge cluster...?

yeah brit, stick around here. there are some dumbazzes but most of us here are alright. hopefully you can get the bugs worked out with the wiring and if not i'll help. and i really can't give anyone the hookup like i can her unless you are a hot female.

mean that in the most professional way possible you damn pervs! get back to me chic so we can talk some more about the conversion hopefully soon to be underway.
