Finally got myself some coilovers!!! 26 clicks!?

hey guys so i was on craigslist the other day and found some type HE tein coilovers for pretty cheap, got them for 500 bucks! i checked them out and they looked structurally sound, except the front left shock had a minor leak in the seal. i installed them on my car today and everything rides great, im planning on sending all four shocks back to Tein in Downey, Ca when i get some more money for it, but i was wondering why the dampening adjustment has 26 clicks? i know that they are supposed to be 16 way adjustable so im really baffled as to why the knob clicks 26 times.....also if you guys could suggest some different dampening set ups that you use for grip and drift that would be awesome.
