Finally got my Versa fixed....

Well, after a two month escapade including many visits to the service dept. I finally got my versa fixed. This is what it had to come down to, they had to get a brand spanking new Versa off the lot and switch the parts out from the new car to my car. It took most of today, i dropped it off at 7:00AM today and just got home not 6:00PM but i'm so happy that the window and the right door finally works! I never heard of a part taking 2 months to come in, but i cant complain because i got it fixed.

Edit: While i was there I was in the back while they were finishing up my car and the manager of the service dept. asked me who installed my intake and strut and tail lights and i said i did. The look on his face totally changed and he told me they were hireing for the summer and gave me an application!!! Hope i get the job. The only thing was my age, because im 16 he said i would mostly be watching and learning if i did get the job, and doing things like oil changes. I'm excited!

That is exactly how I got my first job in a mechanic shop which led to a job in a body shop. Isn't it cool when that happens?

I had to wait also a month and half for a replacement door handle to come in. It seems dealers have a lot of problems getting parts from Nissan. I've had to wait on the factory to ship out a part a few times, and it's never fast - even when it's supposed an emergency vehicle off road order.
