well i finally got my turbo setup all finished today but im far from done. ive searched and searched and cant seem to figure everything out. ok so when i first started the car it wouldnt idle for crap and vacuum was at 10...prutty low. so i checked all my vacuum fixed the mess of vacuum lines i had and got the vacuum up to like 20 which seems about right. i played around with the idle screw a little bit and finally got the car to idle however the car still bogs out if i rev up the motor or drive it. 1st and 2nd just bog out bad but third and fourth i can get through it not smoothly but it goes and i was able to hit 3 lbs of boost. now im thinking the problem can either still be with all the vacuum and hoses, the maf, or the o2 sensor. heres what ive done with everything.

1) the iacv hose i have routed right into the cold pipe right before the the tb 2) as for the maf...my power steering pump creates space problems for my intake off the turbo so all i could fit was 2 inch piping to the maf so im wondering if thats maybe effecting the readings of the maf that its going from its 2 1/2 diameter to 2" then to the turbo, i dunno. 3)now on the original ka intake theres 3 hoses that go into it, the iacv hose which i mentioned, the smaller of the 3 hoses which just comes off a vacuum line(i just removed the T and eliminated it, do i need that?) and the hose coming off the vavle cover, which i just have a hose on it open on the other end toward the ground. where is the best palce for all these lines maybe thats effecting me? 4) im also venting my bov to atmosphere 5) my maf also is just running with a screen over it cuz i couldnt fit a fliter on it, do you think that could effect anything??at this point im so overwhelmed with all this thinking i been thinking about all kinds of stuff and getting nothing out of it. my setup is a kkk k27 turbo, bov vented to air, fmic, walbro 255, vortech 12:1 fmu and deltagate wastegate with 5lb spring

this is my first turbo project so any input would help a lot thanks in advance

first check to make shure your bov isnt leaking at idle. I had the exact same problem It was my stock bypass valve vented to the air, but at idle it was leaking letting air escape that the mass air flow already seen and threw fuel for making the car run super rich and bogging at idle etc. Also I couldnt even tune my car cause not rec my bypass valve was making my car run like crap!! When slowing down the car would die, it was bogging, I tryed -50 on 460cc injectors, the car was still bogging and getting an 10 air fue ratio. the sound was cool but Once i rec my bypass valve, the car runs like a stock turbo car no more bogging etc. So def rec your bov. I also have safc so i was able to tune the fuel. 12:1 fmu should only be temporary. Def go with a better fuel managment. Atleast new injectors and safc to be reliable

so i got home from work yesterday and everyone seemed to think it might have to do with the fmu cuz i was running far too rich and makign it bog so i disconnected the fmu and started the car and idles fine revs up fine as opposed to bogging down and wouldnt rev up smoothly before. so i figured id take it for a ride see how it runs w/o boosting ofcourse but i close the hood annd the car shuts off....i guess the maf is so sensitive that it eeds a filter on it cuz if i even blow into it lightly the car stalls out and bogs down. so im gunna make a new intake and try an sfmu i got from a friend which will allow me to adjust fuel presure at idle. hopefully this will work out for me so i can finally boost
