So after a hard 4 months save haha, I got a crazy deal on Tein Basics from ebay and went ahead and got them. Yes they're not adjustable (dampening) but height is adjustable though, but they are comfortable for a dd and gives you a drop you need. Almost bought godspeeds btw! Yes its not much but im happy! (you know what I mean those of you who wanted something for awhile and got it!)

1997 240sx245/40/18p45rs 18x9.5 +15 Slight rear/front roll (I mean slight, SUPER SLIGHT) haha still paid 25 bucks for it though.Front rubs like a bish, cannot even make a full turn

Not going any lower for now (witner) due to the roads uphere and such.. But once summer/springs rolls around, camber kit front/back, get some cheap tires and stretch the living heck out of them, neg camber, and tuck those mugs in haha!

Sry for dirty car just had ice storm todayAlso will be going to teh city this saturday for a small photoshoot with my buddy's s14, and with a good camera hopefully haha.

it might not look like alot of a drop in the pics, but trust me, it is...

if you're going to do anything...and you want my opinion...i'd say it would look really great with front lip rear valances, and side skirts...nothing too agressive

otherwise looks good

I knew it! I know what you guys mean, clean oem look thats what I'm going for for sure, just the prices on the aero is super expensive.. :D I'm waiting for my buddy to get a bodykit so he can sell me the skirts for cheap, other than that I'm not going to buy em, they go for like $400.. maybe a set of JDM ones but they are still expensive.

As for the lip, if I get a deal I'd def. get on it but if not i'm not going to buy it.. the price for that thing is outrageous, (locally is more reasanoble) but you pay like 150 for shipping alone haha..

Next step is def some more suspension work (have to replace the balljoints, going to do the bushings as well) and some small stuff like tint, some HID kit or just get the high intensity bulbs for now. But after that, time for a engine swap for sure, gonna be a while before I get to it though, oh well what can you do I'm really leaning towards rb25det, I've taken a ride in one and it hauls a**.

nonono ! I tried dropping them all the way down, my fenders were literally on the tires, they have about roughly an 1-1.2 inch on front, and 1.2-1.4 on back roughly.. I just didn't want to go lower because I need a camber kit to do so and more fender work to make my wheels fit. Also I need to run smaller tires maybe 225 to tuck them in with camber.

I agree slam it that way the curbs and streets can do some custom front bumper work for you. No need to slam or go ultra negative on the camber, unless you don't like making contact with the street. Whats the point of have 245s when only 200mm make contact?

That's why you don't run 245s. You run 215s, then utilize 200mm, and you're only wasting 15mm now.

Yea, thats what I was saying in my earlier posts. I plan on buying some cheap summer tires to screw around on drifting/track etc. Tthen once its winter again put these tires on and return them back to stock like it is now (the camber adjustments) so in the winter I am safe.. I'm not sure about 215's though, itll work but would be a huge stretch.. I know I can run 225's easily though.

the plastic pieces that are under the wheels well. you dont have to have them on just make sure that your harness isnt rubbing anything..

i thought my wheel was rubbing the fender but it was rubbing the wiring harness. just make sure.. the harness is in the left fender.. and when i say left i mean get into your car and sit in the drivers seat.

Haha thanks man! I already scratches up the left wheel but oh well, thats why you don't buy cheap lugnuts.. (autozone ftl)

x10000 for the drop Would 17inchers look as good as the 18inchers you're rocking? I'm thinking of getting those or 5zigen fnor1c's but I don't know if I should go 17 or 18 because I may drop the car in the future and don't want to have to roll my fender lips.

Don't slam a base model car, I'll look its best low with skirts and a lip... I'd suggest looking at the nismo or zenki skirts, those look the best IMO. Once you do that you're car will already look lower AND it will look good with a slight drop.

Looks fine how it is, and still has good suspension geometry. IMO a nice even fender around the wheel looks the best

God damn 18s are beastly. Hate to say it but I think it would look nicer with a 16 or 17 inch rim, same offsets, with like a 215/40/17. Even when you're lowered 18's put you so high!

If you get the right tires the overall diameter is the same between 16, 17, and 18. It's the people that leave the stock tires on 350z rims that seem to be so far off the ground cuz its like a 215/50/18 when it should be a 215/40/18
