I just bought my 2000 Q45 Aniversary Edition yesterday! Man, its a nice car. Black with the two tone tan/gray leather interior. Every single option except the wing. I think im going to have to buy some springs first, any of you know who it was that was selling them on here?

Very sweet pick-up, I really like the Aniversary Ediition. We have a growing population of 2nd gen Q owners. You will see it refered to as 2nd gen or Y33 which was the designation for the car.

The good news is your in the right place to get things like springs and shocks on the aftermarket. The bad news is that all the good stuff (e.g., not just stock replacement) is only available in Japan for the model they sell in Japan called Cima, which is the same car you just bought.

Kevin Falk is the man for the springs, Tein springs will lower you 2", the only thing available. The only aftermarket shocks are KYB SR Specials, which are a great upgrade. We have a guy on this board Van Phan, goes by onetongarage that can get them. Expensive but if you are anywhere close to 50-60 you probably want to do these at the same time. I did both a few months ago and it will transform the car.

How many miles you got on it. What service history can you find on the car?

Yea, im pretty familiar with the chasis code and the Cima/President/Cedric/Gloria family of cars. I plan on taking my time with this car unlike previous cars. So cost wont be soo much of a factor anymore. Also, i need to look for some wheels for the car.

The car has 80k miles on it, and the suspension along with the 75k mile maintnence has already been performed. So basically the car just drives like heaven.
