Finally got my phonebook on the car (or, why I keep older phones lying around)

I did some looking at the various phones supported by Infiniti, and to what extent, on the Infinity Bluetooth web page. The Sony-Erricson T68i was listed, as having the ability to download the eintre phonebook to the G37. I just happen to (still) have one of these!

1. Pair phone to iMac.2. Transfer all contacts to T68i.3. Pair T68i to G37.4. Download the phonebook.5. Correct some entries, since the company name doesn't transfer (and for businesses, that's all I use on my Apple Contacts).

A bit of a pain, and a kludge, but I finally have my phonebook on the car populated.

[EDIT] Each paired phone apparently has a separate phonebook. Which is good, and bad. In my case, it's bad.

I hate to say it, but Infiniti adapted a retarded method for phonebook sync. A vast majority of the phones on the market today don't have the capability to push contacts in the method Infiniti is using.
