Finally got my new Altima - But Problems?

So Saturday I went to the dealer and purchased my new 2010 Altima Sedan 2.5s with conv package. WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So first thing that happened was the battery was dead and I was unable to test drive till they gave it a quick charge. I was the only person to sit in that car, it was new off the truck - only 6 miles on it.

When I got in the tire sensor light was on - Maybe it needed air? No big deal, the test drive was smooth as silk.

Next - I was ready to bring it home but they had to do a quick check of everything and they told me I couldnt cause there was a recall, something with the steering column... It will be ready for Monday... WTF

I didn't make the full down payment until I checked with you guys on here cause i'll go back and demand a different vehicle..


Why do I think they lied to me.. has anyone heard of such a recall?

when i got mine, it was sitting on the show room floor and they battery was dead also. it happens. people leave lights and such on inside. i wouldn't worry about the recall, in my opinion, it is better that they admit there is a problem and are going the extra mile to have it fixed for you right now, instead of waiting for you to discover the recall notice and bring it back yourself. BTW truth be told, OEM batteries in our cars really suck. i think more folks have have problems, than not.
