I finally, after many attempted deals and owners flaking out on me at the last second because "They decided to keep it"... Am a S14 owner :mike So like I promised in my introduction to the forum, here are some pix of the beast (the "befores" of course) the afters will be posted upon my return to the states and after I add and change it to my liking, but for it being bought as is nothing done to it engine wise at all, only a transmission swap, SE front bumper/fog lights, coilovers, exhaust, HID's, and Infinity wheels, Good platform to build. Let me know what you think :werd:

Thanks bro. Only need to hunt down 1 part. I guess when he performed the transmission swap he didn't install the ECU for the manual transmission and left the auto ECU in, it works, and runs very smooth, no issues starting up or idling, or rev limiting or speed limiting on the drive back, (had my cousin pick it up for me). I'm hearing the ECU has to be a manual ECU for my EXACT year for it to work? :wtf2:

Clean car! You'll have all that deployment money saved up to have some fun with it. What are your plans for the car?

Thanks man, I plan on doing cosmetic mods first. Working on the interior then slowly hit the exterior. But the main priority on my list is I'm first getting the ECU I need for the manual transmission that was needed for the swap but wasn't installed, hopefully I can find that. After that, I plan on re-building the KA with a performance rebuild/ forged pistons, h beams etc. and prepping it for going turbo.

leave the auto ecu in. you will still have a rev limiter but no speed limiter. i ran the auto ecu in all my old ka s14's and never had a problem. what branch of service are you in?

Ya I had my cousin test it out, he said it's not idling weird on start up, he took it to 7k also, but he didnt try the speed limiter haha. But I just ordered a manual ecu for a 1995 manual w/ no abs just like mine and I got it for only a 100 bucks so not a bad deal. I hear thats the only way to get the check engine light to go off. I'm in the Army finishing up my 2nd tour right now, should be done soon.
