After FIVE months I finally got my Megan racing 5th generation Maxima catback exhaust!!



It's pure sex I tell you.

So...

Hey, there's tabs on both sides of the muffler!! Does this mean that Megan updated the design, and an additional weld is no longer required?

So yeah, guys that have this exhaust, tell me, did yours have tabs on both sides? I heard they didn't but I could be wrong.

.... And not that I deeply care about this, but am I to expect any noticeable performance gain? I'm happy with my 4AT GLE's performance, but any bonus would be welcome.

I'm psyched to get this on my car.... I'm gonna do it myself since the OEM catback is relatively new.. just gotta fire up the heater in the shop...

Oh and wait for my car to return from the collision shop.. after the deer accident the cam position sensor took a dump... but as soon as it returns I'm puttin this big piece of silverware on!!

But it looks nice! good luck with the install. im excited to hear it.

But as for performance.. you might get a couple hp? nothing that is really that noticeable though.
