I finally was able to get my 510. I have been wanting one for almost 25 years. My first car I ever bought was a 1971 Datsun 510 4 door sedan. It was all stock with the L16 and automatic. I bought it in 1996. I sold it in 2000. It was one of those decisions I always regretted. almost 25 years later (22 I guess) I came across a really clean one. 1972 Datsun 510 4 door. The owner had it for almost 20 years. It has an R180 rear diff, 280ZX 5 speed. The engine block is a Z22S with a L20B head and dual S.U. Carbs. It runs great. Stock rear suspension and brakes. The front are 280ZX struts with stock 280ZX brakes and stock 510 coils that were cut. At least that is everything the previous owner told me. He also gave me a trunkful of extra parts. Mostly trim pieces, but he did have a good amount to rebuild the steering linkage.
