DUDE. I'm very interested to know about those slip on coil-over things. It's the same principal as the Ground Control coilover setups. Some guys SWEAR by those things when used in conjunction with Koni shocks. I'd say get those e-bay things and pair them with a set of kyb gr2 struts. Drop it about 2.5" all the way around and see what happens! I WANNA KNOW!!!

So the picture of your woman in your sig hpmachine definitely reminds me of Ra from Stargate. :|

This is cool though, I want to know how things turn out. Very interested in hearing about an OBX differential.

Cool man. Not enough people put up reviews and such on ebay bought items. Im actually taking a page from you book because im gonna write a review on some SOHC headers, High Flow Cat and dual exhaust that i ordered from ebay. I actually just got the header in and it looks way better than i expected(welding and look wise). But I wont find out whether or not its worth a **** until i install it.Ill make a thread about my DIY ebay exhaust with sound clips and pics.GL with your Eproject

Ebay Parts review

Good read for your project

Edit: Ok that's pretty retarded that NicoClub wont let you post links to other forums. It keeps changing Freshalloy to NicoClub on the link. I thought NicoClub encouraged sharing information?Take out the space between fr and eshalloy in the link below:http://forums2.fr eshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=138129

Umm no one is saying ebay is the problem, its the horrible crap like the slip over coilovers you buy on there. Your not anywhere near the first one testing them, so save your 20 bucks. I will explain the best I can so most can understand, even though alot of your will be like, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ebay is KEeWL, which you should keep your mouth shut because your an idiot.

The slip over coilovers, like the ones you get are ****. As you can tell, theres not even a manufacturer name. All of the springs are made and thrown into a pile, 4 random springs are picked, which all have different spring rates... but if your following, the factory that makes them could care less. The Adjusters furthermore are complete junk like the springs, which will corrode and strip and jam and break and end up being useless, well as a whole, thats what they are anyway.

Ground Control on the other hand, uses quality adjusters and brand name springs which are all properly grouped together with the proper spring rates, or can be custom ordered to your desire. They will also can help you out to find what your looking for if you call them up. These also are made to work with a specific shock your using. Although many of you think buying KYBs and grouping them with these is fine and it is, but thats not what all the rave is about. The best setup is properly calculated with the proper string rates and valving. Research is needed to understand what setup your looking for and what proper specs on the springs and struts so they work together like a true coilover system should, not like all the crap everyone on here buys, including me. The best results are found with upper level konis matched with these ground controls, which are matched with and for eachother. This can provide a comfortable ride with good stiffness on the weekend, or possibly a great stiff suspension setup for the track only.

Do your research and these will outperform almost everything out there.

Ebay is complete crap for the most part, except stuff that isn't dangerous or can cause a crash and exhausts and such which your life doesn't depend on, but still most is junk... unless you buy brand name stuff, which even I do when I see a good deal.

OP good luck wasting all your money by doing everything wrong the first time.

Yeah, I dont know if the Ebay thing is a good idea or not but that FreshAlloy page has some reviews that might help you make your choices.

And if you have the money to risk it and find out, more power to you!

Like Smocan said, don't buy safety stuff (seats, seatbelts, etc) from Ebay. It's not worth finding out if it's trash or not.

awesome read! everything, except the turbos im seeing, is hit or miss.

i want everyone to understand im not doing this cuz i dont care about my car. im doing this because im tight on cash and it keeps my project a project. im experimenting a little bit and giving feedback based on my results. i think it'll be fun and if i go through 2 of one part relatively quickly, then i'll replace it with a legitimate part. ebay is so cheap i can afford doing it like that and it also allows me to learn a bit about doing my own work to my car lets hope anyway lol

with like BOVs and intercoolers (greddy/blitz as you said) i'm definitly going knock-off suspension, which I have decided to do, I found a store selling skunk2 and other name brand stuff so that will be more of a seller/shipping test, not a knockoff/quality test
