well i reserved it about a week ago or so, and i went straight to the mall right after work to pick it up, and go figure, i get there (the game wasnt able to be picked up till after 6pm) and i end up standing in line for 2 1/2 hours, it was worth it in the end, as hte whole time i was conversating with some great people, and the game is awesome, the last one i bought was o2, and this is a big improvement, the playmaker control is a very sweet addition, anyone else have the game yet??

Cool. I think the owner mode is gonna be awesome.

I'm really looking forward to ESPN NFL Football, which is the Sega 2k series renamed.

The great graphics and player models and now they have chris berman doing commentary and First Person mode and a bunch of other stuff like sportscenters and stuff. It's gonna be awesome, but madden should hold me over until then.

i hear hte 1st person thing is a disaster, its too hard to see people coming and such, but yes, ive always like the interface of the 2k series better than madden (atleast since they've incorporated ESPN) , and ive always wanted chris berhman as an announcer, but maddens just a beter game IMo

I love the Madden games. I am still playing NCAA 2004. Perhaps, the best football game ever IMHO. The college atmospher of the game is great. The Sports Illustrated covers and rankings just making even that much better. If you haven't tried it, get NCAA 2004.

You have got to try NCAA 2004, it is far and away the best football game I have played. This is my first college game, and I am more than impressed. The game play is great, the hits are unbelievable and the fight songs and drum beat and cheering make it even better. The announcers are Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreet and Brad Nesler. The play-by-play is much better than Madden 2003. They actually talk about the defensive scheme that you come out in and how you line-up. It is freaking amazing.

well considering they were both produced and published bt EAsports, im assuming they're damn near the same game, almost every feature that is in NCAA is in madden, but i will surely try NCAA, if for nothing other than the 'atmosphere', and i easily believe you that the play-by-play is better, al michaels is a nice additon, but i still think madden should have chris berman too, instead 2k4 picked him up, also, does NCAA have 'playmaker' control in it??

he is good, i usually use Aaron Brooks (Saints baby!!) and whenever i can never find anyone open, and choose to take off running, if im behind the line of scrimmae, he runs as if he's almost in slow motion, but as soon as you're past scrimmage, he takes off very quickly, whats that all about, why not just run full speed the entire time?!!

hell yea, i honestly dont think michael vick is a 96 rated quarterback though, he's def got the best scrammbling skills ive ever seen, but his throws are what counts, he's very entertaining, but just not quite as good at actually placing the ball in the receivers hands, but he is awesome at chucking the ball 65yards downfield

i was reading an atricle about madden's cover guys, every year, after being on the cover, that player's career takes a dive, think aobut it, eddie george madden o1, his team misses winning the superbowl by 1 yard, and he's plague'd by injuries, daunte cullpepper o2, he takes a dive and has some trouble with injuries and is paying fines for fights on the sideline, marshall faulk o3, non stop injuries, his team goes 7-9 and doesnt make the playoffs for the first time since 98, and michael vick o4, good luck bro, you're gonna need it

:werd:, i hear he'll be out for about 5weeks or so, well 5weeks atleast from the time he was injured, he should have about 4 weeks left ,usually a broke bone takes between 6-8 weeks to heal fully
