Just picked up a swapped 13 this week (redtop), and I had a few questions. I'm pretty sure that the turbo is on its way out. I pulled off the pipe going to the throttle body and noticed that it had some oily $hit in it, haven't check the turbo for play yet, but I also noticed that the rear of the car (bumper) is getting covered in tiny dots of what looks like oil. Is this the problem? However it does not smoke at all, on or off boost and it pulls like a whore. Its currently running stock boost. Thanks.

oh yeah, Soooo much better than the stock KA!!!

I had heard something about that, but not sure where to hook one up. The T fitting coming off of the valve cover?

yes, the hose that runs off the T toward the front of the car runs back into your intake. intercept it in between the T and the intake with the oil catch can.

your TB had oil in it? are you sure you didnt mean to say the oil had turbo in it? if your TB has oil in it then i'd be curious of why because that shouldnt be there..maybe its just wet grime...also the oil on your bumper..are you sure its not just richness? i get that on my bumper but its not oily or wet..are you absolutely sure yours is wet? you should pull your intake off and see if there is any oil on the compressor housing inlet..also do you have a factory oil catch can already? its the little black box towards the back of the valve cover on the right..two rubber hoses running off of it

It could be running rich, I'm starting to smell gas everynow and then... And No I do not have a stock catch can, I do need to get one. Now if the problem is because its running rich, how can this be cured? I do not have a A/f gauge, but it does have a FPR with a gauge near the fuel rail. As far as I know the car is stock. I just got a few weeks ago, and haven't had much time to play with it. I have noticed black puffing if I've been sitting at a light for a little while, not on boost or off boost tho--- Any Ideas? Thanks
