I finally snap a shot of the Black beast. Thinking of supercharging this monkey and sending about 450 bhp to the wheels.

Def sweet ride. What kind of audio equipment are you running in the Z? Anything yet? I know we talked about your previous TL (which I'm also a fan of )

You know the Bose systemis not horrible but it is nothing like what I have had in previous cars. I dont have any immediate plans for audio, but rest assure I am gonna do something pretty damn crazy when that day arrives. I almost bought this car when it came out in 03, but I did not like nearly as much as I like them now.

TunerTrifecta, no need to worry what ever I put in it will be audiophile high end, for all my audiophile buds.

Thanks Sympathy !!!

Nice...and when you do, you should take a look at this company--http://www.tccustomz.com. They have a couple of awsome setups for the small a-- trunk we got. Paint it any color you want, any material, even put the "Z" logo into the fiberglass if ya want. All for a reasonable price...CHECK'EM OUT !!

Smoke seems like the kind of guy that would glass it himself if he was gonna go that route

I honestly wasn't impressed with the bose system, especially for the price-tag that comes with it. Unfortunately, I DO like the factory nav, and for that you must get the Better Off with Something Else (BOSE).

Come on Tuner I did not opt the Bose it was in the car already, you answered your own question, and anyway I tiated the cost of the radio and the invisible bra out of the price so I did not pay for it anyway,. I would have bought it with no radio but I do traveling from time to time and appreciate the nav. And no I dont glass anything myself, but thanks for assuming.

Thanks for the link cuff, good to know.

Gotcha gotcha. The Z I was looking at had the BOSE already in it too, and it was a steal price.

No glassing for you? Too itchy? Take too long? Honestly I hate the stuff, but I always love the end result, and it's worth so much more to you when you hear some one say "WHOA!" and you can think to yourself, yup, I did that myself!

Yeah I did stuff like that till I was about 25 years old then I began working so much that I never really had time to do extra things in my car, so I always had friends in the install and product industry so they would give me everything at cost and install it for nothing in return for some other bartering we could conjure up. I dont really mind the glass but just not sure yet. I it will definitly be 1 sub probably a 10" and components around.

What other stuff have people stuck in these car as far as components, I already know I will go with Focal Woofer, 11" or 13", love these things. But undecided for the rest of the stuff.

yeah...and if you want to keep it simple, this is where I bought the box from...http://caraudiofactory.com. His site is kinda low tec, but I thought, what the heck...give the little shop owners some $$. He actually is really quick with shipping, and has killer deals like this... 2003-2007 Nissan 350Z Dual 10" Box + 2 Sony XS-L103P5B Subwoofer $179.00...check him out. He's a little old man, who does all the work himself, and it would seem that he would charge alot more just for the way he packs the product...a bomb could go off, and your stuff could survive. Throw some $$ his way !!

I already kinda asked this somewhere else but why dont people just drop a 10 or 12 inch where the spair tire is under the trunk floor, That way you could have enough space to put one but once you put the top over it it would be hidden and you wouldnt loose any trunk space since theres not much to start with in the first place.

Cuff, subs under the bar seem to be the best way to go as far as keeping some room. The area behind the bar--towards the seats--has very little room anyway.

I've always built the box to sit flush with the bar, then put a cover plate under the bar so as to keep anything from hitting it. Looks good though man!
