I would charge the buyer with shipping...it will probably cost you at least $100. UPS might be the cheapest.

Business is slow everywhere. You might check with a freight company or even a household goods moving company i.e. United Van Lines. They might have a truck going that way with some empty space.

I've learned that FEDEX is a lot cheaper than UPS!!!!I sold some wheels on ebay and UPS was twice as much as FEDEX.I've shipped some other stuff over the years and FEDEX always beats UPS.anyway, my 2 cents....not worth much in this economy...

You're going to need an accurate weight and dimensions of the box in order to get an accurate shipping quote.

Also, be sure to take the package to an actual USP or Fedex/Kinkos. The authorized dealers tack on their own fees on top of the shipping cost which = murder.

Vivek,

Go invest in a box. get the smallest box that will fit the exhaust in SAFELY. Then get shipping quotes for it. That should help your sale a lot because you know how much you'll be making and the buyer will know how much the shipped price will be.

You might want to get some large boxes, box cutter, and shipping tape and make your own box. I've done this before when I shipped a trailer hitch!!

My wife works at a music store, so they always have large boxes!!Might want to check with your local music store for boxes.
