Daily Driving with gutted interior is lamee.
To save 15 pounds isn't worth it, and looks tacky as hell.
All IMO.

Track car is different.

Having gutted interior only makes the cabin hotter. Thats why there is sound deadening and insulation, its to keep the outside... well outside! not only that but you need to remove HUNDREDS of pounds to make even the smallest difference in quarter mile time. There was a acura integra that was in import tuner, they weighed the car before they gutted it and tested its 0 - 60 times and quarter mile times. 640ibs were removed and the car was only 1.4 seconds faster in the quarter mile and .6 seconds faster in the 0-60 time.... then again it was a integra.... and besides who wants to hear rattling and every pebble on the street? The gas mileage was crazy good though something like 38mpg or 42 mpg
