Yep, it was the best deal I could find on the island insofar, so thanks for the reference.getfdaz1 wrote:
Where did you finally decides to get them, where I told you ( in northport) or some where local.
I didn't have a chance today, was an especially busy day for a Saturday in January. I'll break out the camera and take some pics on Monday for everyone. I should have the spoiler on by then anyway.marleyfan wrote:Here in BC we're not allowed to tint anything in front of the driver. I was going to get mine tinted all around til I found that out. I really dont like the look of rear tinting only. I'd rather have no tinting than rear only. Looking forward to pics of yours TeeKeer.
Where did you get Vent Visors for the V ????? My local "pimp" shop shop says they can't get 'em for the Versa.TweeKeer wrote:At the dealership I'm at right now in Halifax, my Manager told me to "pimp" out a Versa (within reason)
I took a white 1.8S (standard shift). So far it's got the back windows tinted (we're not allowed to tint the front windows in Nova Scotia), Hood Deflector and Vent Visors .

The spoiler is a genuine nissan part as well. I just went to the parts guy at my Nissan Dealer and said, "I hear there's a spoiler available, can I get it in white?" :Pmarleyfan wrote:Very nice Tweekeer. Where did you get the spoiler?
Once again, if you have a parts department at the Nissan dealership you go to and just ask them for vent visors, they should be able to figure out the part number and order them in for you.Paula wrote:Justin,
Thanks for the reply to my e-mail about the Vent Visors. You said they are Genuine Nissan parts. I went to Nissan Canada and can't see where they are offering ANY accessories for the V.
Could you give a little more info..... I know they have them on the the Nissan web site for Japan and Australia for the Tiida, but the Aussies can't send "overseas" and I don't even want to think about trying to deal with Japan.

You may still be held liable since you own the vehicle and it's on the public roads. If a dealer was to install a new taillight that you purchased from them and it was slightly outside of specs, you'd still have to pay the fine. As the owner of the property, you have a duty to make sure that it abide by the laws. That's not to say you couldn't weasel out of it, but why let it get that far.Clipsed wrote:My tint was dealer installed, but was messed up in some areas. I called today, and they are gonna redo it, but when I have them redo it, I am gonna get limo tint on the back windows and have them tint the front two 50%. If I get pulled over and go to court, I have the window sticker that says that the dealer tinted my windows, and was a $500 extra charge. Can't ticket me as it was installed at the dealer. Of course these overpriced tinters are charging me $50 for the upgrade, and another $50 to do the front windows after I talked him down.
If you have a look, the newer Mercedes have this slightly blueish tint. It's not very dark at all and close up looks almost clear. This is pretty close to 70%. If you live in a warm climate and have the 70% rule, tint would still be worth it to keep the car cool. Blocking the UV rays not light, is what keeps the car cool.snwbrdraw wrote:Soooo what exactly does 70% tint look like? Sounds like it's barely worth it to me...
