After a lot of searching, I found some lightweight, low offset wheels for the 240SX 4-lug hubs. They're Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2. I first heard of the wheels in a Sport Compact Car Magazine article a while ago but never really researched them. After doing some research today, these seem to be quality wheels, and they are used in many racing series. One review I read called them the new Kosei K1s.

They're available in most popular sizes with offsets from +11 to +53. I'm thinking of getting 17x7.5 +15 or 17x7.5 +25 with 215/45R17 tires. They weigh 18.0 lbs. in this size.

Does anyone already have these on their car? I'm trying to choose between +15 or +25 offset and could use some advice.

17x7.5 +11 is not what passes as "low offset" for most of the guys here...

i thought you wanted to have smaller, lighter wheels for autox?

I guess I'm looking for a relatively low offset. I don't want to roll the fenders, maybe bend in the flange behind the fender, but no major rolling.

Besides FN01R-Cs, there's not much out there when it comes to lightweight wheels (under $200) with a decent offset. If you have suggestions, please let me know.

look at falken hanabi's, in there 17x9 +20 offset they are only like 18 or 19 pounds basically same weights as FN's.. they are extremely light... and only 170 bucks a pop on edge racing, might even find them cheaper..

Bending the flange behind the fender is rolling the fenders. WTF OMG RLY?

Anyways I would get the 17x9 +23 thats a damn good size if you ask me. It's not crazy flush but its fits good and it'll look good.

rpf1's just arent my style though.. i like wheels with a look and are light weight and if you want both, you sorta gotta either give on one or the other.. and the main 2 words your forgeting "4 Lug".

actually theres plenty of wheels that look good and are light, you just have to pay for them

i mentioned the enkeis because theyre the only wheel in that price range that are way lighter than that

yea.. i meant pulling the fenders.. you know what i meant.. no need to be an ***.

I do want light small wheels, but also don't want my car looking like crap. So that's why I want 17s. 17x7s are not made with low offset and I want to run 235/40R17s or 245s which would be too wide for 17x7.

I've considered both hanabis and fn01r-cs, but again the only decent offsets are for 17x9s... don't need wheels that wide and don't like the stretched tire look.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Team Dynamics wheels. They're light, come in low offset, and look good. These exact wheels were also used in the British Touring Car Series, which I hope means that they are pretty good quality. If I don't get these, I'll get hanabi or 5zigen.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
