Well i am glad to annouce that i was just able to buy another s14 after my last one was rear ended a week short of a year ago. let's see if i can get this one going faster ( since i already have another car to drive daily) this is what is my plan is for this one , you guys are welcome to give me your inputs let's see ( and i am going against all my standards, since this is not going to be driven and modified at the same time) first a wide body kits, after is comes back from primer or maybe even paint, I'll tackle the suspention, 5 lug convertion and wheels. oh forgot i am thinking of going kouki. then ofcourse there would be a heart transplant. and the plumbing. the interior would be kept quite stock looking, some seats and tiny little blitz gauges. NOW TO THE FUN PART since i have been out of the game for so long i am sure i don't know of some new toys that might be availible so if you guys would give me ideas it would be appreciated. this is what i got in mind for now. zeal suspention. maybe silk road. 5zigen exhaust. work wheels. dunno what kinda rubber blitz gauges and intercooler.... dunnno ther rest

It's not hard to tell whether or not you have ABS.

It's not that it won't lock up, it's that the ABS computer will begin to pulse the brakes on and off very fast. It's not something you could mistake for anything else, ABS is obvious when it's working. Your best bet is to try it on a wet surface, slam the brakes on (in a parking lot, please), and see if it pulses the brakes automatically.

Congrats on the S14 btw. Mine got rear-ended last week, minor damage, I dunno when I'm getting it back. I miss it already.....

I am not driving the s14 much to find out if it has abs or not since first i don't have insurance on it yet and second i have my bmw to drive daily. I think one of the ways would be to look for the box in the passeger side of the engine bay to see if there is that infamous box with with a bunch of brake lines coming out from it. sorry to hear about your car dude , hope you get it back on the road soon
