i actually got them as part of a claim on my car when it was vandalized earlier this year.....

they replaced my windshield, headlights, front grill and repainted the hood. during the claim, i asked the body shop to put on the sport headlights instead of the clear ones. they said "ok" and i gave them the part number and they installed them.

otherwise they were $1200 a piece

Well, it's great that everything worked out, and you even came out ahead w/ a pair of $2K headlamps at a fraction of what we all would have to pay!

Do you think they would be able to paint all the wood trim to piano gloss black? just like the outer door/window panels?

I did mine by buying some nylon plugs from home depot and color matching them with a paint pen i have.. cost about 2 bucks not including the paint.. but there is a website that has them already painted.. google bumper plugs or something like that.. i got the idea from the g 35 driver website.. search there for the diy thread.. looks 10x better without the front plate for sure..

I like the alum. look as well but i can't seem to find anyone local that wants to trade so it's either getting it painted piano black or making it carbon fiber from a place that i found that sells the actual woven fiber overlay. (not sticker)

just an attachment, not a whole new bumper...

and the used screws to attach it to the car. the only adhesive that was used, was the one that already came attached to the kit

I love it!! looking great man!! Here are some pics of mine. I like to murder my vehicles out a little....HA!! BTW, for my grill, I just took it off and brought it to one of my buddies who paints bumpers for a living. Im sure you can take it to any paint shop or body shop in town. Also, instead of painting the chrome piece on the hood, i just took it to a tint shop and had it vinyled. My next mods are going to be to lower it, exhaust, then 20" staggered wheels.

Hello.

Really like how your grill came out.I have a black 06 M45 as well.

I live in Dallas, TX.

You mention that its $100 to get it done.

Where and how?

Does it also include the chrome part of the hood?

The projector LED's look awesome!!

the guys at chaffey auto body next to my work will do it for you; but it's such a simple procedure, that any local body shop can do it for you.
