I finally figured out what i don't like about the 370Z...the wheels. I saw the first picture of a car with different wheels on and it looks so much better. And that made up my decision, i'm going to get a 370Z. I'm so glad i'll be able to get into a Z again, i just couldn't bring myself to spend the cash on the 350Z. Test drove the thing and the interior just felt really cheap to me, although it is better then my 02 Xterra. I never should have sold my Z32

So here is my attempt to make this thread not just another noob clutter post. What are your favorite wheel/color combo's?

I know lots of people with the white Z's get black or chrome wheels but I've always thought that rather ugly.

I got my TSW thruxtons in hyper black, which is like a titanium color

Oh titanium color...

I was just browsing around and found a picture of a blue 370Z with these or something like these http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...h+Lip

I think it looks SO good. I would probably drop the size down to a 18'' though for weight purposes if it would clear the brakes, but i don't think that would be a problem.

Those BBS's would be real nice. I've always been partial to 5 or more spokes on a wheel. Me personally I'm a fan of the TE37 Time Attacks. But I don't know how they'd look on a 370.

Those are some nice wheels. But i would have to see them on a 370z to get my opinion on that. Who is good with photoshop?! Haha.

In other news, i may be able to get a Z sooner then i thought thanks to stocks skyrocketing on me

Well, how does this do?

I tried to match the paint colors as close as possible to what the 370z's looks like.

I don't lie how high the car sits and the seat sits high in the body, it's almost as bad as a mustang, nissan is nw catering the the arthritic crowd that cant get up form a tru sports car

They need to either be all black, including the lip. or lip chrome and face silver. or all chrome.

Also the rear lip needs to be 4.5-5 inches. If you want the true feel of what the wheels will look like.

Actually going over all these posts, I really like the wheels on Z32 TwinZ's ride. What kind/size? I agree though, the rims on the 370Z must be changed. I'm really interested in test driving one. Of course, I would need to trade in my 1990 TT to get one. I'm not sure I'm ready to let go yet.

They are 19" 278 Ruff racing wheels. F: 19x8.5 R:19x9.5

I was being stupid trying to drift and hit a curb and broke one. A big chunk came out of the lip of the rear right wheel.

I didn't feel like replacing it, and i think it's time for an upgrade, so i bought some 18" Volk GTS Phantom wheels. They will be going on once i get my coils and the rest of my suspension.

I think the Volk GTS wheels look sick on a lot of cars!

I think any of the wheels previously mentioned in this thread would look amazing with a Gun-Metal finish. Especially with a blue paint job. Thanks akba for the photoshoping!

I agree the Z sits alittle high but its a stock car so its expected. The new mustangs are awful though, i got a rental mustang and its like sitting in a box or something. Everything is so square and the door panel went up almost to my shoulders.
