After a long deliberation between getting FLT-A2's or Tein HE's (slightly and briefly considered the RS's)... I finally decided... I bought Kei Office Type XT-alphas!
I've put off posting about my order until I had something relevant to say... or had pics to show. They come in next week (got into the states yesterday... finally)... so here's an old suspension uninstall bit of information.
Last night Hybrid and I were taking off the old in preparation to put on the new... turns out the tension rod bushing bolt that was connected to the chassis felt partial to the car and didn't want to come off. I'm sure some of you know that you have to take the tension rod off in order to pull the mounting bracket it is attached to off the frame... well... a sawz-all was the only way to do this last night. I guess you can only expect so much when the car has 199k on the clock. So Hybrid is combing the salvage yards for me today for a new bracket while I'm at work.... thanks bud.
So the casualties from last night were the bracket and tierod end boot on the brand new Tein tierod end, so hopefully we can just get that bracket and get the boot repaired and she'll be ready for the new gear!
I had bought Nismo tension rod bushings, but Hybrid had his R32 tension rods w/ what looked like brand new bushings in them... so if anyone wants these let me know (getting the Tein tension rods instead).
I will post install pics when the Kei's get in...
