Finally checking in after 5 years of lurking

Decided I would finally check in. I've been lurking on NICO since I was 15. Five years later I finally made an account.
From the east coast but the Air Force sent me to the desert of eastern New Mexico (read: West Texas).
Currently driving an '03 Nissan Frontier with an '89 240sx Project in the driveway.
Will probably be seeing a lot of me when I start my swap in the spring as I'm sure with it being my first that there will be a lot that search and research didn't answer.

Cars I've owned in the last 2 years:
1991 Nissan 240sx HB. KA - Totaled
1998 Buick Regal - Cracked Block
1997 Dodge Caravan - Rod Knock
1994 Toyota Celica - Bought with rod knock for $200. Scrapped 4mos later for $300. WIN
1997 Buick Skylark - Trans slipped while in cruise control downhill on long drive= rod knock
1994 Nissan Pathfinder XE-4x4 - Lost a Fight with a guard rail and ice in Colorado
1998 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 - Lost to 90 degree heat and elevation of I25 in CO. Cracked head.
1990 Nissan 240sx HB. KA - Overheated (parked in garage during house fire)
2000 Audi A4 1.8TQM - Traded in for
2003 Nissan Frontier S/C CC 4x4 STILL ALIVE!! Daily Driver
1989 Nissan 240sx HB. Waiting for SR.

Looks like you have had some bad luck with your cars the passed couple years. Dont mean to laugh but it was funny.

Decided since there is nothing around where I'm living at right now and no local forum to move out of the regional forums and into NICO. And I have had some bad luck but I've got to play with a wide variety of cars and now that my money situation is a little better hopefully be able to keep these ones in good condition.

Not really. I learned how to use search awhile back.

Its a post whoring thread. Essentially its like a chat room for a bunch of guys/girl (or 2). But typically its always the same people posting in it. The threads have gotten so big, they actually cause instability to NICO's server, which is why you see "Learnd'd version 4" or whatever.

I figured that's what it was. But based on the massive amount of results when you search I couldn't figure out why it is "Learnd'd" I understand what the threads are, just not the name.

The overheated 240 was already sold to the insurance company awhile back. That's when I got the Audi.

Was a very fun car, especially with the APR tune. 20psi to a little Ko3. Was fast for how heavy that tank was.
