So a few weeks ago, my buddy and I decide to tackle this vert he's working on. The top is just trashed. Dry rotted, holes poked in it, and the rear window was being help together with aluminum duct tape.

I have to say it's not a hard job, but it is definitely a tedious job. There are so many little screws and bolts and nuts to worry about that it could make an OCD person go wacko.

Anyways, the new top looks gorgeous, and after a few days in the sun, most of the wrinkles that ended up being in it are gone now.

Ummm... I think vert guys who demand pics want to see pics of installation IN PROGRESS. I wish you could have taken some pictures when you guys were working on it. But still I want to see how it came out...

That's what I'm talking about. Can't wait to see that. Quick question. Did your friend replace headliner too? I'm thinking about replacing whole thing including top, rear window and headliner. I got a quote and it was like $1200 at the local shop using best quality material available. It's a reputable shop, so I would trust him, but $1200 is just too expensive... I'm not sure if I'll try it myself or not.
