But now I'm running out of gear and snapping axles left and right.

Torque can be a b****! Hope you enjoy.

Very nice!

Are you snapping standard axles? You can try to fit the thicker J30 axles in. As for the gearing issue, you can always try a different final drive.

Definitely snapping the stockers. Am back on Nico primarily to troll for rear end swap information. So far the Q45 with 3.69 rear gear and 30 spline axles looks like it will be stronger and give me room to grow, so I am not crossing the traps on the rev limiter.

90-96 q45 diff
z32 tt/90-96 q hubs
1 driver's side axle from a q(90-96) installed on the passenger side of your car
one driver's side axle from a z32tt installed on the driver' side of your car
a drive shaft with the right flange on it for the q diff

Mix together thoroughly, then have fun. :bigthumb:

Congrats!
What suspension?!

Or 97-01 Q45 diff (3.69)
92-94 J30 axles
*Use your rear cover I'm sure*

Done?

Seems alot easier with more desired ratio, but I don't see it much.

The advantage of the earlier q diff is that it uses the same axles and axle stubs as the tt z32, which is bigger and stronger than the stuff commonly found with an r200 diff.

Did you ever make it back to the track again? Do you have any bigger pics of the car with the slicks/skinnys?
