ive had a g35 coupe since last june but im now the proud owner of a 73 240z. found it in tennesee for 1k. i also got a few cool magazines and vintage catalogs along with the car. the project begins.

nice find, whats the long term plan? and looks like you got a few issues of Z Car and Classic Datsun that I don't have

i want to put a 1jz in it and repaint it,zg flares, shave the rear and a bunch of other stuff.

very nice..and it doenst look too bad.. not too much rust in the typical rust areas on the car.. (hows the battery tray?) you might wanna check out http://www.hybridz.org they got a few write ups on the 1jZ or 2jz swaps for the early 240Zs... and again.. very nice find....

yeah there was a supra powered car at the SEZ this year, I's never do a yota motor but whatever spins your wheels

i normally would not cross breed but the prices for good nissan motors are getting rediculous. im not a huge fan of the l28et, the sr20 is over priced, as well as the rb series. for around 2k i can get a 1jz front clip with a 5spd transmission. it would be nearly impossible to do that for a rb25/6 or sr20.
