If I ever get my car running this century, I'll definetly be buying one of these. I had to ghetto rig my stock one, by cuttin a piece out of the side and flipping it inside out and the welding it back in.Concave side to the steering shaft. That stupid SS Autocrap one does not fit at all.No matter how many times I'm told it fits it doesn't

Screamer pipes are the JUNK! Specially when you have a Externalgate, and you drive by ppl on the street under high boost loads and scare the poop outta them when the w/g opens!

ha.. and at least 500whp...... anyways...

from what I hear from the SAU boys screamer pipes on stock turbos show ZERO power gains, and also they say they sound like ****... now with a larger turbo and and external gate.. thats a different story.

really?check this vid out, the red car is equiped with the am performance screamer.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjN-m3kuxZAi dunno if there are any gains to be had or lost but from what i can tell the car seems to have a bit more go than most.

that really doesnt sound that bad... hmm maybe AU guys are just picky... Are you sure the green 20 is stock? doesnt seem to move like a stock 20.. lol.

as for the gains, the one thread I read a guy tested it, one run with re routed dump, one with open.. results were the same.. He never said anything about spool time tho, id guess it would prolly help spool a few rpms..

I would think that the advantage of a screamer pipe would be little to no boost creep.

On one hand I dont really care about the noise, because its gonna be a weekend/track car. But on the other hand on the weekends, when I do drive it I don't want the POlice up my CULO (@ss in spanish).

How bad is it when you are just cruising, or if PoPo pulls up next to you and you wanna pull off inconspicuously

Its only loud when you are under boost. There is a "diverter" (with this piece its a piece of pipe that fits inside the opening for the exhaust wheel) which keeps the normal exhaust flowing down its own pipe. So there is nothing coming out of the wastegate dump except the wastegate gases when under boost.

Other than that, you car is going to be just as loud as you exhaust is.

cdorhout - yes that elbo has solved alot of boost creep issues that are normaly seen on stock rb dp/elbow cars...its kinda funny because the turbo actualy has some top end now.

lol no the red car is a factory freak, car is stupid fast and its basicaly stock cept for 550's and a romtuned ecu (we street tuned it).its VERY fast for what it is...when all was said and done that car pulls to 7.5k on a stock rb20 turbo @ 14psi, food for thought.

Looks nice, but you still have to ship it from Australia.

My friend and I are currently designing one now on my car and will possibly have a small batch to sell to the public to get a feeler on if there is a market for them. I'll keep you all updated. Divided gate with possible open wastegate pipe design and plumbing back into downpipe designs.

I don't have a shop, but my good friend works as head of performance department and Tuner for a local dyno/performance shop. I brought the idea up to him after noticing people wanting fitting dump pipes for these swaps. We are making one for my car on a jig and will consider making multiples if people want them.
