Hey guys. I've been posting here for a little while now, so I've decided to give y'all a proper introduction. My name is David, and I've got this piece:

And the engine of course, fresh from Jhot:

We pulled the KA24E:

Stripped her down:

Painted:

Reassembled:

CA... which is getting a minor rebuild for my sanity's sake (rings, bearings, HG, etc.) It probably would have been fine, but the head was a little dirty so I figured while it's getting hot-tanked I'll just hook the motor up with some fresh parts. Always wanted to take apart a motor too.

Hope you've enjoyed, I've still got a lot more work to do before she's ready for the road.

I've watched this build very carefully from day one. His is going to have one clean car when he gets done.

As always, David, great work.

No problem. If I'm ever in the market for a JDM engine again, I know where to go!

Cool, thanks! Maybe have a "let's put superjoy's motor in!" day sometime soon. (For anyone not in the know, these Texas guys have been following my progress over at http://www.texasnissans.com for the last few months.)
