Ok I finally got a motor stand and cherry picker to use on my car (95 S14) ok the KA got royally raped in FL while racing a honda FIT... I will not lose to a honda ever. So after getting off the highway and hearing this terrible noise I spent the next four hours sitting at a waffle house in Ocala Florida, I was living in West Palm at the time if you can imagine how screwed I really was. So any who I finally tore everything down and come to find out the problem... I lacked timing chain guide and it was all in my oil pickup i'll be taking pics tomorrow in the daylight when i begin my rebuild but I'm going to take pics of everything and show step by step what its like to rebuild a KA and i'm probably gonna need help so every one who knows anything throw your two pennies in!

There are some good rebuild threads around, but are usually meant to be used in conjunction with the FSM, but do not directly reference the FSM at each Step for each Step to make 1 complete comprehensive build thread complete with pics. So if you were to do that, it would be tops!

damn, your in mastic beach, im in coram!!! Good to see some local Long islanders on NICO.

Its easier and cheaper to buy a used Ka by the way...unless you plan on having serious plans and power goals. So if your for Ka-T, then go for it!!!!

You should get a HV oil pump while yo are at it. the KA's lack oil in the higher rpm range.
