Ok guys, I have not posted on this forum for about 1 year or two. Some of you may remember me, some may not. But I ordered a CA for my 240sx from this shop. It took months to get it. I never got it but instead was offered an RB20 for it and free install. I took it. 6months later, I sold my rb powered 240 for a Turbo Miata.

Recently, picked up this two tone, silver grey coupe AUTO for $800!! Runs but with a rod knock.

Today, just picked this up. $1100 complete!! Good compression and everything

So happy I am!

Congrats! I do have a questions though, how do you like that turbo Miata? My wife has a Miata and we've contemplated turbo'ing it.

just stick the damn t25 on it already

edit> yeah, welcome to the fun. youll have fun with the engine, and wonder what you ever did without it.

BTW, im discovering things i never knew about alot of things that say toyota on the side... especially the 3S and 7M s .... looking mighty tasty... i may be turning to the darkside ... it started with the ae86, handles like my s13, but 500 lbs lighter. and then the mx83 fit the bill for the sedan i wanted, and all the already documented swap options for engines and suspension bits ...i dont knowwwww.........

[/rant]

so yeah, get that puppy some new hoses, and *in* the car and start enjoying it, worry about upgrades and rebuilds later. just get a taste of ityou can buy another engine later and build teh hell out of it. just start driving it

LOL, I can't jerk, it's on the CA right now, plus I still need to build a manifold.

baah, you dont need a turbo .. ca18de -t (minus t) ftw?

youre welding a manifold from bends? i am still all thumbs with my mig welder... you should (n't?) see under my battery area.... worst weld ever (attempting to build air ducting, we shall see if it works)

but ill get practise building a 3gste aw11 im almost getting car envy... i think thats the next toy after these guys are all 'done' or at least running.... just an engine swap and maybe a couple suspension bits... then time for wheel to wheel fun... its like a frigging $4k lotus only you get affordable replacement parts (from everything ive read, still havnt driven one :\ )

The miata turbo'ed is great. Driven a well built NA and turbo'ed one. Both are extremely fun. @ 5psi it seems slightly slower than my RB20 @ 10psi. I can't imagine hitting 200 to the wheels on the miata. Anyways. It is for sale actually I posted it in the local forums for $4000! No one wants a miata =/. Yeah, can't wait to install the CA, I started cleaning it up last night. Looks better now.

Yes, and Yes.i would love to unload it from you right now, unfortunatly, i have to start saving money for the interim between military, and civilian jobs, and houses

if you still have it in 3-6 months i will hit you up for it, sooner if my board goes well and i get situated sooner. (it will be about that long when i start looking for 7MGTE+manual trannys from supras. i just saw a 6 speed from a 3sge altezza, looks more like a w58, so ill try to end up with one of those mated to the 7mgte. theres cats hitting 600 whp like its no thing on thse bad boys
