I'm in the final steps of fininshing my sr swap and I've heard that the turbo needs priming before startup. Is this true, and if so how would I go about doing so? Sorry if this sounds stupid but I'm new to the sr and still learning. Thanks for any input.

Well you're suppose to prime up the whole motor as well which is the same as the turbo. Take off your ecu or fuel pump fuse, preferrably fuel pump fuse so you don't flood the engine with fuel and keep on cranking until the oil pressure light dies.

just unplug your CAS. This will prevent injectors and plugs to fire and crank crank crank until the oil light goes off. Once it does, plug it back in and start it up.
