Things are comming to a close, and I hope to have this thing running by next Friday. I just wanted to see if you guys could help me with somethings I dont know and finish off the loose ends.

1) The wiring guide tells you to cut everything connected to the white plug, but only 3 wires from the back are pluged into anything if I remember correctly, so that leaves me with all this left Simple enough question, what did you guys do with this? Cut it out and throw it away?

2) This kinda goes with number one. Ive seen at least 2 other plugs like this so I did mine like itIf I do cut them like this, is it safe to leave it like this? Im no wiring expert, but I think that they have power going to em and it wouldnt be good if they maybe touched metal or crossed.

3) Most of the wiring wants you to use a plug and then use only a few wires from the back of it. I did that for most of it, but on this occasion the plug from RB was full of gunk and missing teeth and completely unuseable, so we did thisLeft the plug not hooked to the other end, cut the wire and taped it up to the end it should be connected to. Is this ok?

4) Last question. Ive been wondering what this thing isGoing through the pictures of other peoples rides, Ive seen some with it connected and some without. Whats it do, do I need it?

fine to leave it. For all of those extra wires, feed them back through the firewall and get a pin extractor like jon said or if ya can't get one use a paper clip. I hate having extra wires laying around.
