Gawdzilla helped immensely last time...thank you.

There's two last remianing issues.

Here's the first: http://www.missioninspection.com/throttle.htm

Can someone shoot me a picture of their throttle work unit so I can figure out what type of shim goes between the throttle linkages, and also, what type of nut holds this all together.

Here's the second: http://www.missioninspection.com/hose.htm

I am assuming that this is right. There's a small metal outlet coming off throttle chamber #1, and a small metal outlet coming off the balance tube. These two are connected with a small rubber line, right? See the pic...I am pointing to the rubber line with my pen.

Thanx in advance homeys,

Scott

sorry about that, scott. forgot to take a pic of my work unit assembly. i'll try to get that done tonight.

im not *SURE* where that hose in the 2nd pic goes to, but it doesn't look like it goes to the balance bar, judging by this pic i grabbed from the FSM: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze778xe/fsmpic.JPGlooks like it goes to a hard metal line that comes around across the front of the block???

btw- your engine looks awesome. lots of aftermarket lines too... nice and clean.

also... in my opinion it doesnt need to go to the balance bar. the balance bar should already have vacuum(being directly attached to the throttle body), so why would a hose that connects vacuum to vacuum be necessary? if i'm not mistaken that tap off the throttle body is past the throttle plate(vacuum), correct?
