I saw a coupe just like that getting sold online, at first I was like WOOT dangeris is selling his car lolbut then I remembered that he doesn't have the splitter or the original fascia.Afflicted wrote:I didn't post much but made daily stops on the forum. I want to thank all of you for the info and knowledge I gained from here. Don't think I ever posted pics of her so here are the pics I took when I last left her driving away in her replacement. We didn't want to do it but we have 2 kids and fostering a third and the Altima had no room or trunk
And here is her replacement a 2010 Camry SE V6 with black leather and navi

That toyota v6 is a great engine and I'm sure you'll like driving it a lot!enjoy your new car
I left everything on it but I have all the oem parts though. Going to see what the dealership want if them and maybe try to get the intake back since they pull those off. I do have an extra set of the XXR rims that have a small dent in all 4, plus I have the stick rims which only had maybe 1,000 miles on them. The Altima only had 16,000 miles on her.altima777 wrote:Are you selling any of the parts
weight about 30 lbs less, a few less horsepower, a few less torque.. should feel about the same... definately roomier, and its a Toyota so quality is spot-on... Not much of an improvement ovr the Altima Sedan 3.5 IMO, but its still a great car and its really about taste and preference....headhunt3r wrote:Sucks to see anyone leave the A/C. My dad has the same car as you now, the camry se v6. Don't know how it compares to the VQ, but it def fills my void when I want to go a little faster
Yeah I new you had done the same you had chated with my wife under her user name on here "goneredin08". Then it was funny when you first posted pics of your car with the XXR rims because we had ordered them and they were sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I had to run to the garage to see if they where the same because we ordered them as sportmax rims. How do you like them? I hated them, the red painted just started peeling off of the edge next to the tire and I have another set that the shop we had to install them dented them on their "touchless" mounting machine that wasn't so touchless. But I swear I didn't copy off of you. I know someone else got the same on here also. If we had kept the car we were going to do the stillen rear lip spoiler, a custom sub box, and different rims in 19" but stay with the black and red theme maybe tenso or go all out for the time attacks. I had tail light overlays that I forgot about that were laying under the trunk mat flatting them out, found them when I was making sure we had gotten everything out of it.dangeris wrote:Haha..I traded my FJ for my coupe. You're freakin brilliant Arthur...but how..hmmmmmmmtoxik wrote:darryl you should retrofit those smiley faces on your coupe
To be honest,..I've had better rims. They advertise the rims as anodized..yeah..right... I also ordered them under sportmax then all off a sudden they changed to XXR...whatever. Anyway, there was a guy and the E-Town HIN and he had a Red G37 with CF roof overlay and he had 20" versions and I they were better in quality than my 18's. I was thinking of going to that size next year but we'll see what happens..Afflicted wrote: Yeah I new you had done the same you had chated with my wife under her user name on here "goneredin08". HAHA! I'm looking to trade my coupe in for one of these! I love the FJs. I'm curious though...why didn't you like it?dangeris wrote:Haha..I traded my FJ for my coupe. Best decision I've ever made and I never looked back. Here's some shots of my monstrosity before I traded it in..
Before I answer that Eric, Why do you want one? What will you be doing mostly with it?ESP wrote:

PERFECT answer mate! That's the most honest review I've heard thus far! I wanted an FJ for several reasons: - It's big enough to carry all my gear (and I think it's pretty sweet lookin'). My fiancee shoots with me now so my gear list has gotten bigger! *sigh* - We just bought a house so we're going to be needing a vehicle with a reasonable amount of cargo space to haul...y'know, stuff... - It's more of an infant-suitable car than the coupedangeris wrote:

I loved my FJ and I really didn't want to get rid of it but gas for that thing was killing me. I bought it the first year they came out in 06. I bought the 4x4 6MT. What a lot of people don't know is that if you buy the 6MT, the 4 wheels are spinning all the time. If you bought the automatic, it's 2 wheel drive with the option of putting it into 4wd when you need it. I noticed that difference and the salesman assured me that mileage on the 6MT model was 17 city 22 hwy. My freakin a$$ it was. I drove that for months and even bought a scanguageII that helped me monitor my engine's vitals thereby "coaching" my driving but even before I lifted it and put big wheels on it, I was lucky to get 16mpg on the highway!..and I had a 100 mile commute for work everyday. It had a 20 gal tank that you had to use premium with and I was filling that bad boy twice a week. I was dying when gas was close to $5 a gallon. Finally after 10 months of having it, my bro calls me telling me that they just got in an 08 coupe...and the rest is history.
So Eric, if you're gonna go hit trails with it and do rock crawling in moab utah, then get the 6MT, if you're gonna cruise around town, get the auto. The auto gets about 25mpg hwy btw...
Sorry for the rant
