weld them up. this is the only proper way to do it. im sure someone will say to use bondo... which is a no no. it will eventually crack and be seen through the paint.

i wa gonna say bondo, but if you can weld, go for it....

if you get bondo they have these metals foil things, just put those on the underside of the holes, aply a couple layeres and sand it smooth.

good luck!

Weld, weld, weld. If you can't, find somebody that can. It will pay off in the long run. J-Z is 100% correct.

Well, welding is great for those who can get er' done- To do it right the inside skin from the hatch side will have to be cut out and removed to give access to weld it- unless someone is good enough to do it from the top. Otherwise- for the non-welding do it yourselfer- you still need to cut out the inside skin to get to it- but I plan to sand down to metal rough it up- and then overlap the holes from the underside with polyester resin and heavy glass cloth- then fill in the shallow depressions from the top with very fine layer of resin and lightweight cloth. Then sand out, finish, and see what happens. This is the way I would approach it. My way may not be the best way, I dunno that much about bodywork- but I have done a good bit with glasswork on boats. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I have been driving mine for three months with pieces of black tape (black car) over the holes- trying to figure what to do with it.

I'm not one of those people who have to have a showroom shine on a car- I got better things to do than worry about it that much- I do like things to look clean and nice though.

I used bondo. Bad idea! I have had one of the holes popped out 2 times by people going "Oh, so is this where the hole was?" POKE. I need to find a welder friend.

i guess by all the responses i will go with welding. Does anyone know how much it would cost? Roughly?

i would say around $50 would be reasonable to just weld up the holes and grind them all smooth. that is not including any body work. i was gonna say something about hbrown's reply, but im just gonna keep it to my self.
