Hey guys, I just finished installing my body kit by myself. It looks nice from far away :).

However, the 3m tape isn't holding the kit that well, and I was wondering if there is material (kinda like a bondo is what I'm thinking of) to fill in the gaps and make the fiberglass stick better and blend better with the rest of the body.

If anyone has instructions on that, that will be great.

What I'm trying to do:1) get body kit to stick to chassis better - certain parts are sticking out because they are held together by 3M adhesive, which isn't holding

2) blend body kit into the body before I do my paint job

3) save money by doing this myself :)

Thanks!

you could always bolt the kit to the body at certain strategic locations.

Yea, that's last resort because I don't want to bolt it onto the side of the car (I'll take pics later) where the side skirt shows but doesn't wrap around (one part is toward the door side.

I used duraglass and molded mine to the body and then used seam sealer and made a nice smooth finish that was ready for painting
