Figured Out What Happened To Grenaded Engine

Yep. Pulled valve cover and upper front cover. Grenaded tensioner on the driver's side. The chain is completly lax and can move an inch! But the block seems fine. So I think that the VERY loose chain just jacked up the timing a lot me suspects. I am not even going to mess with it like I said, I am just going to drop in the CA. Still fun ti see. I'll post pics in a minute.

Looks like it is not grenaded, just VERY sick.

I thought the tensioners were on the passenger side? What's the chain guide look like?

Edit: I'd offer my condolences, but you don't seem that upset. With a cool new engine on the way, I guess I wouldn't be either. So...err...congratulations? ;)

You're right...it was a guide not a tensioner.
